Marco Santori, former Chief Legal Officer at Kraken, has joined the WalletConnect Foundation as a Director. In an interview with Decrypt, Santori expressed his desire to focus on self-custody, stating that while speculation drives much of the crypto industry’s growth, it is critical to have tools that demonstrate the power of self-custody. Santori believes speculators are the ’top of the funnel for crypto adoption,’ but emphasized the importance of tools that showcase the benefits of self-custody.
